On July 15th, 2006 at the Washington Boro Tomato Festival, a beer chugging contest was held to decide the mountains championship. Paul (champion at the time), Poon and Doug had to each chug 6 pony bottles of miller lite. The first to do so would become the Mountains Champion. Everyone started off fast, but Paul soon dropped off, being as he can only win at video games. Poon and Doug kept a steady pace through 4 beers, but Doug pulled away downing number 5 and 6 in record fashion. Thus thwarting Poons chance to become Mountains Champion.
The Beer Chug will be added to the list of events in the Mountains Championship Tournament next April 2007 to be held in Smethport, PA.
